C++ and .NET

I am currently applying for a university scholarship that requires me to submit a C++ program to the university for them to evaluate. There is something that confuses me though... One of the criteria states that "Source code must be provided in a .net format." What is this format? Is it any different from "standard" C++? Are there any tutorials on the matter? Thanks in advance.

You should try contacting them and asking for a clarification on what they mean by a .NET format. For all you know, they could mean C++.NET (how it differs I don't know).

At any rate, your best bet would be to contact them and ask them.

Like chollida1 said, my bet is that they want a visual Studio .NET Project/Solution file.

If so, I suggest you go Stallman on their ass and force them to give you a copy of VS2k5 Enterprise for free =)
