Q3map2 vs Q3map bsp compiler - file format

Hi, I've recently return to my old engine, where I work with Q3 BSP file format. I've decided to enhance it to display bumpmaps, what would be good there. I've made simple map, just two "boxes" and light to play around with it. However I used GTK radiant 1.5, which use Q3map2 instead of Q3map, which was in earlier versions. I've noticed that file format is propably slightly different. Vertices are at the same positions, but I cannot display them as ..TRIANGLE_FANS as before. It is totally different. What do you know about these changes, or where I could find some informations about that? Thanks Martin

I had this problem too. If I remember right I used just regular triangles instead of fans. I used the mesh vertex index on the faces as the index array. I vaguely remember doing something else prior to using the mesh index... Also I believe the version that GTK Radiant outputs is version 47, at least it did when I made mine.
