hi All, I'm new to database programming so i'm wondering what API calls are needed to access databases such as Oracle 9i or SQL Server 2000? Can you please recommend a book which covers "from the ground up" type of database programming? I am using Visual Studio .NET 2003 and C++. C# as well later on. I have heard of OLE and ADO.NET. (dont know what they are though) Is the the sort of books I need or something else? thanks in advance. Xtreme
