ok, i need to know the lengh of a line, for collision detection. I have 2 points in space, they are in 3d coords pos1, pos2 i subtract them to get the difference diff = pos2-pos1 now what do I do with the diff to get the actual length? thanks

that's very simple.

length(v) = sqrt(v.x^2 + v.y^2 + v.z^2), where v is a 3d-vector with the components (x,y,z).
