Found something neat that we can order for free, such as CDs or DVDs of software, technical manuals, and the like? Post about it in this thread, so everyone can benefit from your discovery! (Please adhere to the template further in this thread, and limit it to software and stuff that can be delivered to your homes and places of business.)

Original post, saved for posterity I've been trying to find that old "free stuff" thread that used to be here that linked to all the other free stuff threads like the Intel books. Anyone have it bookmarked or something?

Well, here it is, then. But let us still find the old one so we can rape it for links.

Please use the following format to describe any free stuff in this thread:
Quote:

{Product Title}

URL: {Link}
The Goods: A brief description of the product or service available for order over the internet.
The Catch: Any caveats that make it potentially useless or troublesome.

IA-32 Intel® Architecture Software Developer's Manuals

URL: http://developer.intel.com/design/pentium4/manuals/index2.htm
The Goods: Five dead-tree manuals documenting the architecture and instruction set of the IA-32 series of processors (also known as the x86 series). The books are free, the delivery (via FedEx) is free, all's well with the world.
The Catch: None. Looks like they'll ship anywhere around the world.
