I'm all for good ol' C++/Win32 programming, which I'd like to do with VC++ Express 2005. The thing is, the Windows project is greyed-out. I've read the article on MSDN on how to set it up, updated the directories in both the options and VCProjectEngine.dll.express.config file, deleted the vccomponents.dat file, updated corewin_express.vsprops, and edited AppSettings.htm, and it still dosen't allow me to create a Win32 project. Anyone got it to work? Thanks in advance.

Interesting, the program complains about not being able to modify AppWizard.htm.
This is starting to get freaky.

Aha! The reason that that program couldn't modify AppWizard.htm was because it was renamed to AppWizard.htm.bak, and also because mine had two sets of WIN_APP.disable = true; lines.

Thanks for the link. Even though the program didn't work (my error) it still helped me find the problem.
