Hi, I'm in my last year of high school here in Belgium. At the moment I'm learning C# there in the Information Technology class. I've made a few games in C# like Minesweeper and Poker. I'm finishing high school soon and I'm then I'm going for my Game Programming education here in Belgium. I'd like know how I can improve my skills in game development up till now I've only made 2D games. Can anyone give me some advise on what books I could buy to improve my programming skills. At this point the only programming experience I have is what I've learned in school. Kasper

Why don't you look in the books section of this website, there are lots and they are rated by the users to help you make the good choice.

look here : http://www.gamedev.net/columns/books/

If you want to switch to 3D, i'd recommend learning openGL, and also GLUT if you are not familiar with the winAPI. You don't need a book if you know where to look on the internet. Consider looking at NeHe at http://nehe.gamedev.net/ they have lots of great OpenGL tutorials in many programming languages.
