PS2 development
I am trying to research PS2 development for a company that wants to port some of their PC software to the Playstation 2. I am having difficulty in finding any usefull information in this regard. Do any of you out there have any usefull links that would give me some idea of what is involved. The games uses mainly flash, and I have been able to determine that the PS2 has got a flash player, but I'm not sure what is involved in developing for this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

You'll need to get in touch with their developer relations department (haven't got the details myself)... PS2 is still essentially a closed platform (unless you go for the linux route) so you need Sony's blessings before you get near any particularly useful information [smile]

I don't think that I'd be breaking my NDA by saying that the PS2 SDK most certainly doesn't come with a Flash Player.
Luckily, all you need to do to get access to the PS2 dev-site is to get concept approval of your project which doesn't actually cost anything. From there, you can download the latest sony libs and documentation to see how much work is involved and if it's really worth your time.

No you're correct, it doesn't. We were talking to a company resently who were working on one with alot of success. So it is possible to create one for it, but its not something that comes as standard.
