Parameter of a bounding box

If im looking at a cubiod, how do i calculate the edges which make up the parameter? I did see an article on devmaster about edge detection for any mesh made up of many edges. Is there a easier/faster way to calculate the edges if you know the mesh will only be a cubiod.
