I was wondering what i am doing wrong here
//in the h
#include "qBSP.h"

//in the cpp
qBSP* Map = NULL;

//...a little later

Map= new qBSP;
Map->Load("maps/Tutorial.bsp");

That works perfectly but basically my problem happens when I want this pointer visible in another class. If I try to make Map extern i.e.
extern qBSP* Map;

I get, error C2143: syntax error : missing ';' before '*' and error C2501: 'Map' : missing storage-class or type specifiers for the extern line. I've tried to make a function return this pointer but again this doesnt work. Does anybody know what's happening? I'm pretty new to C++ so any help would be really appreciated. Thanks
