Hi guys, I want to press a GUI button and but increment a value base on hold long the button was held down. Eg I hold a button for 2 seconds and update the value twice, once for each second the button was held. Any ideas on how to do this? Thanks for any help given!!

What GUI system are you using?

I'd made a class which inherents a button and overide it's behavor for OnLMouseButtonDown() and OnLMouseButtonUp(). Then I could then time between OnLMouseButtonDown() and OnLMouseButtonUP().

Edit: Followed from the front page. :D

Im using VC++ 2003 & .NET forms.

I'd want the values to update while the button was pressed down cos Im making a modelling tool.
