I want my applications connect to internet and internet connect to my applications [wink] I heard that the best way to establish an internet connection in C++ is using windows sockets. Unfortunally even with MSDN I have a big problems to make winsock connection so I searching for best lessons in that category. To other think I want to know (and I think I'm ready) is how to handle with threads. How to create my own thread and make multithread win32 application. If somebody know a lessons in the internet which describes one of this two category pls post link here.

I don't have the specific ones, but there are some great C++ tutorials on networking (more like demo apps with source) avaliable at Planet Source Code. You have to register for free after 5 downloads, but that site is awesome. Do a search for Network in the C/C++ tab to see what they have under that keyword. I also know they have a great selection as well over at the Code Project. Happy hunting!

I can now handle with socket but I gave got a problem. There is commands on internet that I don't know. I learn command "GET inet_filename".
When I use sockets and send a string for example:
"GET /community/forums/themes/theme11/gdb_01.gif"
and sockaddr_in structure have resolved host address: "www.gamedev.net" (this is just an example),
I start receive image data.
Where I can read more about these commands like GET ?
