What settings do I need to use just to export a static mesh that will load correctly with D3DXLoadMeshFromX? I used to use the command line 3ds to X utility that came with the SDK extras and those worked without any tinkering, but I haven't been able to guess a working combination for panda exporter and there don't seem to be any docs.

Hi Wild,

I'm also using Panda Exporter and it is working like a charm. I didn't need to tweek the options.

The options i'm using:

Output Options: Mesh definitions, Materials.
Object Types: Geometric.
Mesh Options: Mesh normals, Mapping Coordinates, Vertex colors.

I just did another test to make sure, and its still working like charm when i load it with DirectX Viewer.

Thanks. There was a bug in my loader that didn't appear when loading X files from the older conversion utility.
