Vertex in Textur

Hallo! How can I "save" some Vertexes to a texture? I don't want to load a file, or make an array of integers. I just want to save some vertexes in a texture and then draw this texture instead of the vertexes each time. thx, yadaddy.

you can use a Ogl extension ARB_pbuffer

There are also Framebuffer Objects, but it is an EXT extension, and I don't believe it has widespread driver support yet. However it's very flexible and the chances are it'll do all you want to do.

Ninja edit: you didn't specify exactly what you wanted to do. It's quite possible a plain glCopyTexSubImage2D would do the trick for you.
