Sky Box and Domes.

Anyone know of a good site for good looking skydomes and boxes. Or just a general reference on building domes and boxes..

The fastest and easiest way is to actually create and texture map the sky dome using a 3d rendering program such as 3DSMAX and then simply load it up in your application.Simple

A more economical approach is to just make a box, turn off the depth buffer, draw the box, then turn the depth buffer back in. By doing this, and making sure you don''t rotate the box with the rest of your scene, you will get a skybox that appears to infinatley far away, even though it may only by 10 or 20 units to a side.
