I have implemented perlin noise (clouds). But i want to add animation to it. How can i do this. Do i have to just interpolate betwen different perlin noise clouds ??

Add an extra dimension to the noise, then vary that as a function of time. Ie. if you have 2D clouds, use 3D noise, if 3D clouds, use 4D noise. Also move the noise along some spatial axis so that the clouds morph as they move. The result looks quite nice.

Sharlin is correct, using another dimension is an excellent way to animate noise. To reduce cost consider double buffering noise samples and performing a linear interpolation over time. (Or some form of spline interpolation using even more buffers) Optionally you may wish to spread the calculation of the next 'slice' over a number of frames though this requires yet another buffer.
