Using Tablets

Hi ppl! Some time ago I bought me a Wacom Tablet (6x8 I think). Anyway I''m not exactly a good artist, I can draw a bit with pencil and paper. So when I bought the tablet I thought I could draw with the same quality as on paper, but I was wrong. I can''t draw any straight lines or curved lines, they keep coming out all wiggly and jiggly. Can someone give me some pointers on how I can fix this? The only thing that''''s constant in the universe is change.

Try to adjust the sensitivity of the tablet, in control panel. I know what you mean, as I recently(christmas) bought one myself.

Also draw very slowly, until you get used to the fact that there is no friction.
Hi,

i solved the problem via putting a sheet of (not too rough)paper onto the tablet. It helped me with getting a better physical feedback while drawing.

Here are some useful links to some really great "tablet artists".
