Model format for an RTS game

Please suggest me a model format I should use in an RTS game. I don't know which one would suit best to my needs. As I said, the game is a Real-Time Straregy, models will include animations and textures. Thanks, VBmaster

Unfortunately, neither do we. We don't really know exactly what your needs are, nor to we know what tools you have available to you.

That said, .x is probably a nice easy one to start with if you're using DirectX. There's a whole load of functions that come with DX for loading them up, so getting them working should be fairly painless. Of course, your modelling package may not support them, although I would imagine it should not be too hard to find an exporter for most packages.
