BSP Entity Loading

When editting a map in GTKRadiant you can convert brushes in to Trains and Doors. However how do you get the metadata for these entities? The only available data I can find for a func_door is [something like], "classname" "func_door" "model" "*1" Where can I find the data about the associated brush, etc? I've Googled loads but can't find any information on how this works...
