Quadtrees and boungin boxes

Greetings. I am working on a 3d-lanscape engine. I use quadtrees (each node is a 3d bounding box). The engine is written in Direct3d IM (DX7). My Problem: How can I find out if one of those bounding boxes is or is not inside the view frustrum? I need quick methods of checking visibility.

This paper helped me a lot when i had the exact same problem as you http://www.ce.chalmers.se/staff/uffe/vfcullbox.pdf Although the article doesn't explain how to extract the view frustum planes from your projection and view matrix.
