I'm working on my engine (OpenGL, SDL, C++ with a few other DLL libraries, such as Cg, DevIL, OpenAL) I'm looking around for a profiler to help me target a massive performance issue. Does anyone know of a decent free one? DevPartner Community ed. only works for 7.1, and the webpage seems to be MIA. I want to keep this cost free, as that was the point of using Express Ed. but if theres a reasonably priced 3rd party tool, I'd be pretty happy for fork over say ~$50. As an alternative, are there any in-code profilers that are easy to integrate? I'm checking out superpig's Enginuity articles as I recall a system in there.. Cheers -Danu P.S. Googling as we speak, looking into intel VTune and GlowCode

VTune has been around a long time and is popular in real professional games. AMD codeanalyst is also worth a look.
