basically u only need the red book ''opengl programming guide'' version 1.2) ISBN 0-201-46138-2
plus a little bit of 3d theory doesnt go amiss
maybe computer graphics principles and practices ISBN 0-201-84840-6

I would recommend that you also get the Blue book:
OpenGL refernce manual (second edition for ver 1.1)
ISBN 0-201-46140-4
Addison-Wesley

A must in every OpenGL programmers library

I can sell you both the programming and reference guide, both are 1.2 version-3rd edition.

They are in good condition. $35 each. They retail for $50.

A good start can also be the NeHe tutorials. From the NeHe page can you browse several OpenGL books online.
