Hello I am wondering if it is possible to stop a build when I have reached a specific number of errors(set by me) in VS7 c++. I thought there used to be a cap on this but having just picked up an old project and attempting to convert it from DirectX8.1 to DirectX9 I am finding the error count seems unlimited. It is quite time consuming to do a build at the moment because I am still in the early stages...... Thanks in advance for your help :) [Edited by - bobbinus on January 19, 2006 1:20:17 AM]

You can press ctrl-break to stop the build immediately in VS7.

The main thing is to make sure that you solve errors starting from the top, and work your way down.
