Hi all, I have a simple opengl application. im importing a 3ds model into it. i want to texture map the model, but im not sure whether there is a way for me to make it easier on myself and apply textures to the model in MAX or whether to apply the textures in the opengl application itself. is it possible to do it the first way? I have tried the first way, but at the moment, the textures i apply to the model in max arent coming out when i run the opengl application. the model is just pure white. i have also tried the second way, but it seems to be quite complicated mapping the texture coordinates to the model coordinates. so id rather not take this route if the first route is possible and easier. thanks all in advance for your replies. :')
