How to use pick sample code (DirectX sample) in ortho projection?

The sample’s method is good for perspective projection. But when I use ortho projection, it’s failed. I just change the perspective to ortho. Why it doesn’t work? I know someone ask this before, but I don’t find the correct answer. Please help.
