Wazoo, you bastard, you killed the index buffer! Heh, well, I''m very new to DX8, and finding the only tutorial (I''ve found so far) on making a cube and texturing it on Wazoo''s site, I don''t quite know a way to use textures with the index buffer. Using textures without seems sort of impractical... Anybody know a tutorial that teaches this? Or have some basic code that creates ONE face and textures it in combination with the index buffer, mayhaps? Help..? ----------------- The Goblin ----------------- "Oh, God..." "Yes?" <- My Response

Nah, I''m not having this problem any more, I figured it out on my own.

Index buffers are near-useless for textures though, simply because of all the different tu and tv coordinates.

I almost never use index buffers.

By the way, Wazoo, why have the tutorials pretty readily stopped, and why didn''t you use a triangle fan for that pyramid tutorial?
