'm fooling around with CGI programming atm. Everything works OK until I add GET variables into the URL - when I do this the browser (or Apache2) attempts to start a download. I'm using Firefox and Apache2 with C++. Anyone know what this could be? I'd really appreciate some help as I'm just starting with CGI. Thanks.

What content type are you sending?

Have you considered using either a browser extension (Mozilla live HTTP headers) or a packet sniffer / network monitor (Ethereal) to view the TCP session?
