I have a line defined by vector A and B. I want to find a point on this line. (I want to find where the line intersects with an axis) Point I want to find = x,y,z What would x and y be if z = 0 ? What would x and z be if y = 0 ? What would y and z be if x = 0 ? Hope this makes any sence to you :)

Google 'ray plane intersection'. (In your post you're asking about the cardinal planes, for which the solution simplifies somewhat, but it's good to know the general solution anyway.)

You should be able to find all the info you need online.
