Hi, On my home computer, I have the platform SDK. Dont really knwo how its contributing to my programming experience tho, to be honest! I was considering installing it onto my new work laptop, if worth it. Not really sure where to download it tho, msdn isnt that helpful! Is it the same thing as the .net framework SDK? Thanks Simon

The platform SDK includes all the headers and libraries needed to program for windows.
And it's nothing to do with the .net framework.

The Platform SDK is for Windows programming, .net is for, well, .net programming. :)
Well... I think it includes all documentation for the Windows Platform so it may help you.

Plus, you need it in order to make Visual Studio Express compile Windows native programs (non .Net)

Luck!
