Camera lookat and pos ? transform them?

Need a tad bit of help with Camera transformations. What is it exactly that i need to do each frame ? is it: 1. Translate the camera position using D3DXMatrixTranslation 2. Rotate camera with yaw,pitch,roll with D3DXMatrixRotationAxis 3. Transform the 3 axis'' with D3DXVec3TransformCoord 4. Concatenate all the matrics together. ?? i kinda need some direction with this topic cause im getting lost. also how do i use D3DXMatrixLookAtLH ? would be awesome if someone could give me a good demo with some DX8 code or point me in the right direction to a tutorial. cheers
