<sarcasm>Yes. Everything is about making money. Nevermind standards and doing things right.</sarcasm>
The site works, therefore I think I did it right. If it works, its right, and it works speedy and looks nice. No one cares about the WC3 Standards inless it effects their view or them being able to use the site properly.
Hi looks nice. But i got an error when itried to join it says invalid e-mail adress. And im using a valid one :(
Your email address has to have a .net, .com, or whatever domain extension your email host has, and a @ in it.
Retype your email and try again.

My suggestions would be to:
* Increase Contrast
* Not require login for comments
* When you hover over links at the top, the size changes because of the border. It would be better to have the same size so the layout doesn't keep shifting.
* Work on validation

Hello,
looks good to me, but there are a few things that you should change to make the site more available and streamlined.
- Change main text color to black, since it's very hard to read otherwise.
- Consider making the text a bit bigger so that people with bad eye sight can read it.
- If you want the page to be a community you have to have the login module on a more central part of the page. Also make a special link in the menu called "Sign up now" or something so that it's easier to start new accounts.
- Consider what your main focus on the site should be, I have a hard time finding out what the core of the site really is about, is it downloads? Shouldn't the downloads be on the front page in that case? Or is it the blog? The music? Events? Identify where the meat is and focus on that first and add the other features later when you have built a solid visitors base.
- Maybe more colors except for different variants of grey, I mean games are suppose to be fun and the site should reflect that somehow.
Good luck on your site!!!

The site looks nice. I agree with the others when it comes to the contrast though, the text should be quite a bit darker.
For the validation thing: look into CSS, I think one should always try to minimize the amount of validation errors. However, in some cases that's not possible. I haven't really closely looked at the source, so I think I can't say anything about this one.
