Mouse accelerating opengl on win32??

why does my win32-app suddenly show framerate of 76fps instead of the normal 36-38fps while moving the cursor over the opengl-window? I get time with GetTickCount() over an interval of 10 frames(at the end of win-loop), and average the result.. -the scene seems to run the same speed though?? is either speed accurate? jonn

I had something like that too. I found out my program didn''t draw a frame when I was doing something with my keyboard mouse.
That caused the frame to be a lot faster since the drawing is time consuming....well...maybe that''s it
