[.net] Dxinput Event Handler

I am writing a 3d game in C# using Managed DirectX. I created a thread and handle the keyboard via Direct Input in that thread however my game became very copy. However when I used the keyDown event from the Windows sdk, my game was smooth again with the loss of only being able to process one key at a time. I searched through the forums here and found that making an event handler for Direct Input is the key to my problem. I searched the net and didn't have much lck finding example code. Anyone know where I can find some example code? Thanks in advance!
