If you compile libraries w/ VC++ 2005 Standard Edition, are you able to use these in an application with VC++ 2005 Express Edition? My initial thought is YES.. they are the same compiler. But I have confused myself entirely in the past hour, so I need to know this for a fact. Has anyone actually done this, and can verify it is possible? Depending on the answers to this, there may be more questions. Stay tuned :P edit: I have standard, not pro... woops. Changed all the occurrances. [Edited by - Doggan on March 1, 2006 3:03:07 PM]
