Unity The Problem with SDL and VC++ 2003 Toolkit

Resource Material: http://wiki.codeblocks.org/ http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/topic.asp?topic_id=335101&whichpage=1� http://www.ogre3d.org/wiki/index.php/Codeblocks My setup: Code::Blocks, VC++ 2003 Toolkit, SDL (image, mixer, ttf), CEGUI, OpenGL My options: /MD(multi-threaded DLL) /EHsc(C++ Exceptions) My problem: "entry point not defined" My fix: /ENTRY:WinMainCRTStartup In brief: The free VC++ 2003 Toolkit doesn't ship with all the DLLs you need for making multi-threaded C++ programs (e.g. using SDL). So you have to hack your way around to find some essential files (libcmt.lib msvcrt.lib msvcprt.lib). Then for some reason the entry point gets mixed up. A lot of people post about the same problem in VC++ 2005 Express, and remedies vary from changing the linking order to making a new project file.

Just select option "GUI application" instead of "Console application" in project -> properties. I use code::blocks + vc++ 2003 toolkit + SDL too :)
