I have an array of bytes in C# byte[] Data; I know the elements 2,3,4,5 are the four bytes conforming a float, but how to get them? In C I can do this: float a; memcpy( &a, &Data[2], sizeof(float) ); or float a = *( (float*)&Data[2] ); But what can I do in C#?

I would assume the same thing ...

or use a union (as in C) ...

or use a binary stream ...
