Hi The detail is usually a grey texture with lots of cracks on it. It looks good and makes everything crystal clear. However, I don't understand when you draw a green grassy terrain with the detail as a multitext that no grey (for Americans: gray!) is seen. Why is this ? Thanks

think about the maths that leads to the final colour.

say we have green(0.0,1.0,0.0) and grey(0.5,0.5,0.5)
modulate them together and we get:
0.0*0.5 = 0.0, 1.0*0.5 = 0.5, 0.0*0.5 = 0.0

= (0.0,0.5,0.0) = darker green

obviously it depends what operator you use to combine them e.g. + or *
