Edit: Rewrote after I woke up a bit. Ok, so I'm making a static library to contain some code. That code requires the OpenAL32.lib to work. But it doesnt matter if I link my static libray to the lib or not, the .exe that's using MY lib still requires me to link to the OpenAL32.lib to compile. Is there a way around this? Is there a way to actually make my static library link to the OpenAL32.lib so projects using mine don't need to link to the OpenAL library too? Hope this makes more sense now. Sorry about earlier :) [Edited by - Mike2343 on March 4, 2006 1:38:14 AM]

Hello,

Yes, it seems to be possible using the LIB.EXE program, with a syntax like lib.exe lib1.lib lib2.lib /out:lib3.lib
Take a look here.
