Hey, just wanted to know what software would be best to create an intro for a game. I was looking at something called Bink Video, but im pretty much lost. - Thanks

Bink is a Video Codec / playback library, similar to XVid. It's provided by RAD Tools.

If you're looking at playing back a movie at start, look at AVI playback. There's a good tutorial at NeHe.

If you're looking at making an in-engine intro, you'll need to find some way of defining cut-scenes; either in a Digital Content Creation program like 3D Studio Max, or by algorithmically setting up camera positions, triggering effects, and moving your characters around. Look at Neverwinter Nights for an example.
