Hello. I've finally finished my first game after years of programming on and off. I started with Tetris but decided to do Hangman first since it didn't require graphics. It's a very simple game but if you have a minute or two to spare, check it out. You can download it at: http://www.geocities.com/atsheehan01844/hangman.zip To run the game, you need to extract Hangman.exe and Hangman.txt into the same directory. I've also included the source files if anyone wants to look at them. Hope you enjoy it! Adam

Looks good. The source code looks very tidy.
But what was up with that crazy wordlist?

One suggestion: Windows has some nifty console functions for doing things like color, setting the title bar, and clearing the screen. That would make it look neat.

Your game is pretty cool!
Those ascii graphics to make the hanged man got pretty cool too.
And I liked your code too. It is pretty clear and well explained.
Now why don't you try to make a Win32 version?
You could put better graphivs and maybe some animation too.

Thanks for the responses!

The crazy word list comes from dictionary.com Words of the Day. They're challenging but you can substitute your own if you'd like.

I think when I start learning Win32 I'll begin work on Tetris though. If that is too complicated, maybe I'll make a Win32 Hangman. Thanks again for the responses!
