I've been using .NET 1.1 for a long time, but it's probably likely that I'll be forced into the 2.0 fold sooner or later. My main question is: is 2.0 reflection pretty much the same as 1.1, or is it a new/changed API? Will existing code that uses reflection port easily, or hard? And where could I have found this out online without asking anyone first?

The API is largely the same, although there are some minor differences (i.e. member order may change). Also there are new methods to reflect over generic types.

I've never actually relied upon the ordering of members, always prefering to order them myself (either by sorting or in some other fashion). It seems silly to me to rely upon ordering...but meh, whatever.
