HEy Does anyone know if it is possible to render stuff into an Internet Explorer window using either OpenGL or Direct3D?? And if so how do I do it?? I''ve been searching over at MSDN but couldn''t find anything usefull. I prolly have to make some sort of COM object and plugg it in somewhere.... If you have any thoughts or URL''s please reply. /Derwiath

Hey derwiath,

The only way I think you can achieve this is by writing an ActiveX control.I''m in the process of writing one of my own right now! (There''s a nasty bug in my code somewhere that causes my computer to crash.Once I figure it out I will have a skeletal ActiveX OpenGL control and I can then draw whatever I want onto it.) Be aware,if you choose to use an ActiveX control, then people surfing on linux browsers won''t be able to see your control (or so I''m told :p) Anyway,if you want, drop me an email at thegecko@tbaytel.net and I''ll try to help ya make a control of your own once I figure out where the hell the bug is.

Cheers!
