fading out sounds (SDL, FMOD)

In my game engine (based on SDL and FMOD), I will need a function to start fading out a certain sound in a given time. I programmed this, but it doesn't work at all. http://hashasp.mine.nu/paster/?2143

Doesn't FMOD support fading out sound for you? Or am I thinking of SDL_mixer? You might want to try that library out anyway as you're already using SDL...

The problem might be the #define macro way up at the top. It contains a comment that will be substituted into your code and make all of the code on the line following the FADE_OUT_INTERVAL usage to be ignored.

BTW. As Rob Loach pointed out, SDL_Mixer supports fadeouts internally. SDL_Mixer has problems with looping OGGs and MP3s but if you use a music module or MIDI format it should loop fine.
