I''ve developing a 3d system for the first time, and I''m creating my objects manually at runtime. I''m ordering the vertices in my triangles automatically so that V1 is on top and the other two are in a clockwise rotation. My problem is, when I calculate the normals for each triangle, they all are positive. Even the back sides of the cube. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks If you pour water into a cup it becomes the cup, pour water into a bowl it becomes the bowl, pour water into a teapot it becomes the teapot...be water my friend. -Bruce Lee

Well...how are you calculating the normals?

Thanks for your reply, but I''ve figured it out..I was ordering the vertices backwards, and also I was ordering the vertices for the back sides as if I was looking at the back of the surfaces.
