DirectDraw question & compiler asm question

1. In DirectDraw, i have an image which ha a colour key, when i blt the image at a larger size, on some video cards the blending software cuts in and blends the transparent colour with the rest of the image. Is there any way around this. (using dx7) 2. How can you view the compiler asm-code output.

well, i''m not quite sure about your dd problem, but i could imagine that, if you dont include the DDBLT_WAIT flag, the main thread of your game kinda interferes while dd''s thread is still blitting. i know, in that case subsequent calls to Blt normally return DDERR_WASSTILLDRAWING but this is all i can say about it cause i never had that problem.

For the second problem: Under the Project menu, click Settings. Go to the C/C++ tab and select the Listing Files category. Then change the Listing File Type to whatever you want ("Assembly with Source" is probably best). The compiler will then generate a *.asm version of each *.cpp file in the build directory.
