I know you should enumerate device drivers when setting up a d3d app, but is it completely necessary to also enumerate z buffer formats? I was checking out this guy''s code where he was talking about enumerating 3d devices, but he never mentioned anything about z buffers. The actual code however, enumerates z buffer formats, but there doesn''t seem to be anything about enumerating device drivers. The code in the d3d tutorial sample program does device enumeration, but nothing about the z-buffers. In my code I will defintley put the device driver enumeration stuff in there, but what should I do about the z buffer stuff? Should I just leave it? Thanks in advance I AM TONY MONTANA!!!
