GeoClipmapping

Does anyone have/or know where to find a demo to what the results from geoclipmapping are? I may want to change to it from my current method because frankly I like the gpu doing the work, and it has geomorphing basically built into it, and the smooth transitions for normals sound good also, since I would love dymanic shadows instead of a lightmap. I dont care about the large map sizes available since I will be using reasonable 1024 - 2048 ones anyway. I can figure out the coding, but I dont want to spend a couple days on it if the results are not as good as what I am getting now. Also, did this method get patented, so it is out of the picture anyway ?
