I was wondering where the best place to get DX8 tutorials is?? i''v been looking and not finding

if you already know how to prog. in dx just read the sdk
if you dont buy a book

Order the DirectX8 SDK on CD from Microsoft (it''s about $10 US) or download it if you have broadband (it''s 130MB download). You can''t compile DirectX programs without it anyway, so you will need it eventually. It has tutorials and extensive documentation and should be your number one resource for DX info.
