DirectX .X file Specs

Im currently rewriting my game engine, making it more modular and such, and One of the things that Im enchancing is models. I fully want to utilize the .X files that directX supports. I was wondering if anyone knows (or has a link to) any information about what the .X files supports. I know it does texturing and bones, but other then that, i dont know much about it. Thanks in advance.

Look for “X File Format Reference” in the documentation. The format itself is extensible but you can find the default data templates there.
