ODE Trimesh and Colisions

I wanted to start a project with ODE, where I would be able to drive a little dunebuggy over some hightmap terrain of some sort. Before I jump to far into it, I figured I should play with ODE to get a handle on it. But, i noticed that the samples for the TriMesh geometry don't seem to handle any colisions between the trimesh and other objects. Does anyone know what has to be done to be able to keep the spheres inside their little trimesh bowl? (from the sample code for ODE)

They do stay inside the little bowl in the example. Likely you compiled ODE with trimesh collision support turned off. It's in the user-settings file under config (OPCODE_DIRECTORY).
